Redlands extends deadline for utilities committee seat
Residents now have until Dec. 1 to apply for the city’s Utilities Advisory Committee, which will help guide a six-month water and sewer rate study.
Opening: Volunteer position on the city of Redlands Municipal Utilities/Public Works Commission, with a deadline of Sept. 24.
What they do: The commission serves as an advisory body to the City Council and assists various city departments by providing citizen review and input on public works projects and facilities management. Members of the commission are appointed by the City Council.
Time commitment: The commission meets at 4 p.m. on the first Monday of even-numbered months.

The deadline to apply is Sept. 24.
