Thousands gathered on Citrus Avenue for the annual New Year’s Eve Orange Drop, while many enjoyed an earlier Beach Ball Drop timed with London’s midnight.
UPDATE: Both San Timoteo Canyon Road and Live Oak Canyon Road have fully reopened.
REDLANDS, Calif. – In response to the persistent storm, Redlands officials have announced local road closures.
San Timoteo Canyon Road, spanning from Fern Avenue to Live Oak Canyon Road, and Live Oak Canyon Road, from San Timoteo Canyon Road to Outer Highway 10 S, have been shut to through traffic, the city of Redlands posted online Monday evening.
Residents have access to their properties and are urged by officials to "slow down and use an abundance of caution" while driving these roads.
The duration of the closure remains uncertain, with no projected timeframe for reopening to through traffic.
