REDLANDS, Calif. — The city of Redlands is undertaking a comprehensive rezoning project to increase residential development and meet the city's required Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA).

Why it matters: The proposed rezoning of 24 sites, encompassing approximately 116 acres, could result in 2,436 housing units by 2035, according to a notice issued by the Relands development department.

As part of the environmental review process, a public meeting to discuss the project is scheduled for Thursday, July 18, at 4:30 p.m. via Zoom.
