Redlands Election Hub 2024

The latest resources and news regarding our local elections

Redlands Election Hub 2024

Welcome

Local elections are difficult to navigate. National and state elections have the structure of around-the-clock coverage, party affiliations, and high-profile endorsements to give voters context to their decisions. Local elections are less clear. Simple things like what a measure impacts, the role and responsibilities of an elected office or who or what you are eligible to vote for are often not readily available. In some cases, voters learn about a candidate or a measure at the point they fill in their ballot.

Our goal with the Redlands Election Hub 2024 is to simplify the path to being an informed voter. Here we provide:

  • Resources to know which elections are being held and who is eligible to vote
  • Candidate profiles sharing their resume, funding, and statements
  • Information on other elections, offices, and measures
  • Up-to-date related news and results as we progress through the election season.

We attempt to do this in a way that is grounded in verifiable facts and reporting, as well as a consistent framework with how we share candidate profiles. We are a publication made up of individuals with our own opinions, concerns and passion for Redlands. However, in this hub, it is not our intention to promote, advocate or endorse a particular candidate or measure. It is a resource for our community to be informed to vote, to advocate, and to promote the measures, initiatives, and candidates that they see fit.
