Open auditions for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat happening Feb. 24 and March 1, 2025
REDLANDS, Calif. — Redlands Bowl Performing Arts has announced that its summer musical will be Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, presented in partnership with Legendary Productions. The beloved Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical will be staged July 24–27 at the Redlands Bowl, with a public dress rehearsal on July 22.
The production reimagines the biblical story of Joseph, son of Jacob, and his famed coat of many colors. Told entirely through song, the musical follows Joseph’s journey from being sold into slavery to becoming Pharaoh’s trusted advisor after discovering his gift for interpreting dreams. The show features a variety of musical styles, including an Elvis-inspired Pharaoh.
