We need to get back to the basics.
Small-town charm and rich heritage.
Defending childhood while preparing students for a successful future.
I am a husband of 41 years and a parent of two successful adult daughters. I have leadership experience in various areas, including school, business, church, and military (United States Marine Veteran). I have 23 years of experience as a classroom teacher. Bachelor's degree in history. Bachelor's degree in political science. Master's degree in administration. Author of five books and several magazine articles.
We need to get back to the basics. We used to have the best schools in the world when we concentrated on the core academic subjects. Today, academics have become an afterthought in our public schools. Our schools seem more concerned with indoctrinating students according to political agendas than with teaching those academic fundamentals that will prepare our children for a meaningful future. My vision is to prepare every child for the best future possible by teaching those skills that have a track record for success.
Editor's note: Hebron did not indicate specific evidence to substantiate his claims about "indoctrinating students" and "political agendas."
