There is a special sense of home that comes with a morning stroll through Redlands’ neighborhoods. Each garden adds a scent of orange blossoms, bursts of color, and pieces of nature to the joy and pride of our community.
Through the transformation of her own garden, Stephanie Centeno made her home, affectionately dubbed “Fern Cottage,” a part of that same feeling. It was also the inspiration for her business “Fern Cottage Florals”
Founded in June 2023, Fern Cottage Florals is a Redlands-based floral design studio focused on creating inventive, garden-inspired floral arrangements to bring family and friends together to celebrate life’s special moments.
In addition to providing seasonal bouquets and wreaths, wedding and special event arrangements, and flower subscriptions, Stephanie hosts floral workshops. It is an opportunity for customers to put their “own creative spin” on their special occasion or small indulgence.
Stephanie will be hosting a “Mother’s Day Floral Workshop” on Tuesday, May 7th at 5 pm at another Redlands favorite, Shop Suey.
The workshop includes beautiful blooms and greenery, a chic vase to arrange in and take home, and professional floral shears to use during the class. Participants will also enjoy charcuterie, wine and dessert while creating their own unique design.
