REDLANDS, Calif. – Redlands Police Department is investigating a string of Nike store thefts.
Police say more than $10,000 of shoes were stolen from the Nike store at 27651 W. San Bernardino Avenue between March 31 and April 2.
According to a police report, the most recent incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon, April 2, when two suspects snatched 16 pairs of shoes valued at $3,000 before fleeing through a rear exit.
The same suspects are believed to be responsible for a similar theft on Sunday, March 31, involving 30 pairs of shoes, valued at $4,800.
On Monday, April 1, another suspect stole about $3,000 worth of shoes from the store, police said.
All three incidents are under investigation.
